Equipment Repairs & Servicing

Equipment failure always happens at unexpected times, don't worry we are always here to help ?

Our in-house engineers repair and service all makes and models of both traditional type and bean to cup coffee machines and have over 20 years experience in this field. With over 30 different manufacturers of traditional type commercial espresso on the market, from all corners of the globe they are generally all built with the same universal components. The only parts inside an espresso machine that are unique to each individual manufacturer is the steam tank, pipework, wiring and pcb, which in fairness don't cause faults very often. It's usually a flowmeter, solenoid valve or pump head etc which  cause the most machine faults. For this reason our engineers carry a large varied stock of universal components which are interchangeable to nearly all commercial traditional espresso machines to get you back making coffee in the least downtime possible. If for any reason we do not have the part we can source and supply the part on a next day delivery direct to site from UK based suppliers.

" For any fault situations which are complete machine failure and preventing you from making coffee we will aim to get with you within 4 hours "

Boiler Safety Inspection
Since the year 2000 it is now a legal requirement to have all pressurised vessels inspected every 13 months. Ideally we advise every 12 months with the extra months grace for any crossover, thus guaranteeing you can produce a valid certification of inspection if needed.

Generally we advise to carry out the boiler safety examination at the same time as the annual service to prevent any further unneeded machine downtime due to routine maintenance.

What does the inspection involve ?

Its carried out to confirm several factors which include the following. Internal inspection of the steam tank to check for any flaws or cracks in the steam boiler/weld on the tank, check for excessive scale build up: as scale is an insulator and this can generate hot spots on the tank which in turn could cause failure. Finally to check the operation of the safety valve as under fault conditions  this needs to operate at a certain pressure level to remove all excessive steam pressure build up.
